The Hotel Garni Hostatt*** in Engelberg (canton Obwalden, Central Switzerland) is a personally run hotel with 31 beds. It is popular for its very quiet and sunny location with a panoramic view on the summits of Central Switzerland. Our main concern is to make our guests feel comfortable and give them our personal attention and local advice.

All bedrooms have been renovated only recently and each of them has its own special atmosphere and a balcony to the South. Our garden invites you summer and winter for relaxation and play. The barbecue hut in our garden will make for cosy evenings.

Around the house you have the following options: hiking, cross country skiing, mountain biking (we have a workshop and cleaning facility), nordic walking, sports climbing. Engelberg has some fixed rope routes and the paragliding and delta gliders' landing area is not far from our hotel. The new mountain railway "Brunni" can be reached within 5 minutes on foot.
