In summer as in winter, the Skihaus Schabell, which is situated in the midst of the well-known winter-sports area Schabell as well as immediately next to the cable car Elm-Empächli (canton Glarus, Central Switzerland), is an ideal place for holiday camps, school camps, conferences and meetings, etc. It is a central starting point for wonderful and unforgettable hiking tours in the 'Freiberg' area, the most ancient game reserve in Switzerland.
We dispose of a bright and cosy recreation room with hot air fireplace, a modern kitchen (oven, Bain-Marie, etc.), a playroom with table foot and table tennis and a large sun terrace with a view onto our impressive mountain scenery.

Guests who are staying with us for more than three nights in summer or at low season travel for free with the cable car. Groceries bought in Elm are forwarded free of charge to the top station of the cable car.
