The holiday camp Ferienlager am See is located directly on the banks of Lake Lungern, half-way between Lucerne and Interlaken, at the foot of the Brünig Pass in Central Switzerland (canton Obwalden). Located on the northern edge of the village, the camp includes an outdoor fireplace and outdoor seating areas. Only a 15 minutes' walk from sports grounds, multipurpose hall, swimming area and health-resort gardens offering crazy golf. In winter, there is a local bus running between the railway station and the village, the camp and the base terminals of the cable railways. Guests will find a large variety of different shops offering all kinds of everyday essentials, sports articles and clothes as well as a kiosk. Restaurants serving a wide range of meals and drinks. The Brünig railway station, ten minutes from the village centre, ensures hourly connections to Lucerne and Interlaken.

The holiday camp is located at the bicycle route number 9 from Montreux to Rorschach.
