The Casa dei Nonni (house of the grandparents) is situated in the centre of the village Cavergno in the Tessin (Switzerland) and was the home of an extended family. It has a rustic, cosy flair. It is appreciated for the art prints of an artist and art printer from the Tessin. On the ground floor there are the kitchen with dining and living room. On the first floor there are a 4-bedroom, 2 showers and 2 toilets. On the second floor you will find a single and 2 twin rooms. A balcony to the West and one to the East complete the offer.
The wild and beautiful Valle Bavona and the Vallemaggia can be reached by car or on many trails. Lots of possibilities for rockclimbing, mountainbiking, relaxing in the grotti (tipical restaurants) and bathing in the rivers Bavona, Lavizzara and Maggia. In winter skiing, tobogganing, snowboarding and snow shoe walking in the winter resort Bosco Gurin and in the upper Maggia Valley. Covered ice rink in Prato Sornico.
