The holiday centre Küenzisteg with the Jugendhaus Engstligen and Haus Kander (www.groups.ch/K-4187-7724/e) is just 5 walking minutes from the village centre of Frutigen (Bernese Oberland). It is located in a quiet and sunny place by the mountain river Engstligen. It can easily be reached by car, but has no through traffic.

The Jugendhaus Engstligen can be rented with the Haus Kander, creating a total availability of 80 beds.

Besides the dining hall, there are two cosy lounges beneath the roof of the Jugendhaus Engstligen. On each floor there are WC's and shower cabins. A big playing field, an outdoor table tennis and private parking space belong to the Jugendhaus.

The station, a triple gym hall, indoor and open-air swimming pools are easily accessible on foot in about 10 minutes.
The skiing region Elsigalp-Metschalp (1250-1900 m above sea level) offers the opportunity for practically all wintersports. The inexpensive group pass of Frutigen Tourism enables you to acess the snow safe skiing region directly from our Jugendhaus. Bus, cable car, ski lifts and ski deposit are all inclusive.
