The Hotel Restaurant Grenzstein in Stein am Rhein (Canton Schaffhausen) is situated directly at the border in the direction of Radolfzell. Automatic twin bowling alley with agreeable bowling lounge.

We offer a varied cuisine, inexpensive snacks, menu dishes as well as à-la-carte and seasonal specialities. Self-catering groups are welcome from September to April (otherwise on agreement).

Nice hotel rooms with shower, WC, radio and TV. 2 rooms are accessible by wheelchair in a limited way for independent persons in wheelchairs. Garden restaurant. Big parking lot for coaches as well.

The Michaels Hall (50m2) as well as our heated winter garden (palm garden) with pond (300m2) is ideal for large club or family events as well as courses, seminars and orchestra rehearsals. The two halls are adjacent and can be used in combination for up to 100 persons.

Visit of the historic town centre of Stein am Rhein, excursion to the Untersee (Bodensee) and to Schaffhausen (Rheinfall).

The hotel is located at the bicycle route number 2 from the Oberalp pass to Basel.
