The charming former nurses' home has recently been completely refurbished both inside and outside. It now offers a modern infrastructure and best sanitary facilities. A small football and hard pitch in immediate proximity in front of the house. The two sports halls in the village can be rented. Opposite the pilgrimage church, there is a small grocery and souvenir shop.
The Juhui Katharinahaus can be rented together with the adjoining Juhui Melchtal.
The postal bus Sarnen-Melchtal-Stöckalp stops at 100 metres from the house. Melchtal (890 metres/2919 feet) is a starting point for many hiking tours in summer. In winter, the ski area of Melchsee-Frutt can
be reached in a 5 minutes' car drive. Free transfer to the transport facilities.
