The country estate Monteret is situated in St-Cergue close to Nyon (canton Vaud, Switzerland), 40 minutes from Geneva and Lausanne in an exceptional landscape called the "Balcon du Léman", a veritable terrace above the Lake of Geneva. The estate is the property of the protestant church of Geneva and comprises two houses on seven hectares in a forest clearing.

Close to Saint-Cergue the wonderfully situated country estate can be reached by car or alternatively it is a 10 minutes walk from the train station. It offers play grounds (soccer and basket ball), table tennis tables and swings. Numerous trails lead you to discover the rich nature. There are many attractions in the area which are worth a visit.

Monteret II includes a kitchen equipped with a dishwasher, a dining hall, a living room, two workshops for creative activities, an office and a spacious outside terrace. As from June 2003, a newly built multipurpose hall (130 m2) completes this offer.

For larger groups , Monteret I (49 beds) is located at a distance of 200m (www.groups.ch/K-0702-1732/e).
