The "Hotel de la Pension Furka" was built in 1848 and thus celebrated its 150th anniversary in 1998. It as a business with a long-standing tradition that has been owned by the Nanzer-Kreuzer family since the beginning, and managed by women for 90 years. In the 1980ies, it was completely renovated.
The hotel is situated right next to the Furka road at the foot of the Alpine passes Furka, Grimsel and Nufenen. Of course, it can also be reached by train - it is a 5 minutes' walk from the station. Car transfer on the train through the Furka tunnel.
In summer, hiking, biking and riverrafting, as well as special health and nutrition weeks are on the agenda.
The cross-country skiing trail Goms leads right past the house; and also snowboarders and skiers are attended to with 3 transport facilities.
The hotel is located at the bicycle routes number 1 from the Furka Pass to Geneva and number 8 from the Grimsel Pass to Koblenz.

The canton Valais makes high demands on camps with children and adolescents and on group accommodation. Please check the current operating approval.
