The Centre la Comba d'Avau welcomes you in a small, rural valley near Montbovon, 15 km from the town of Bulle in the canton of Freiburg, district of Gruyère.
The house is ideally located in a sunny place sheltered from the wind. Guests who like fishing or bathing will enjoy the clear water of the nearby Hongrin River. There are a large parking as well as a children's playground available. Several ski resorts and cross country tracks at a distance of 15 minutes (Moléson, Charmey, Château-d'Oex, Rougemont). Lift passes at favourable prices. Cheese making demonstration at a producer's, the castle and medieval village of Gruyères, hikes on foot or on bicycle. In the village a grocery shop, a dairy as well as a cheese producer's offer a large variety of everyday essentials. The two busy towns of Bulle and Château-d'Oex can be reached within a 10 minutes' drive and provide a traditional market, cinemas, dance halls and plenty of possibilities for shopping.

The house is located at the bicycle routes number 4 from St. Margrethen to Aigle and number 9 from Montreux to Rorschach.
