The Colonie de vacances Les Tilleuls lies in Renan (canton Bern) in the Jura (Switzerland). It is about 10 km to St-Imier and even less to La Chaux-de-Fonds. Beautifully situated in a sunny place, off the main traffic, still accessible all year round on a little asphalt road. The house is especially suitable for school and other camps in summer or in winter.
In summer, long hiking and biking tours can be negotiated up into the Freiberge mountains, onto Mt Soleil or onto the Chasseral.
In winter, the region offers itself for skiing tours. Sign-posted cross-country skiing trails can be found in the Freiberge, on Mt Soleil, the Chasseral, but not in immediate proximity. On the other hand, you will find good skiing pistes nearby (La Corbatière 8 km, La Vue des Alpes and Tête de Ran 10km, Les Savagnètes and les Bugnenets 15 km).
