The Matratzenlager (dormitory) of the group accommodation Urweider lies in Innertkirchen close to Meiringen in the Bernese Oberland (Switzerland). Table-tennis room, playground and fireplace for barbecues, saunae, satellite television with video recorder/DVD in every common room.
Ski lifts, indoor swimming pool, outdoor swimming pool (all at 5kms).
Multipurpose with sports facilities for badminton, volleyball and handball at 200 m. In winter: courtesy shuttle bus to the valley station of the cable car Meiringen/Hasliberg.

Nature: botany, ornithology, glaciology (Aare River).
Geography: Aare Gorge, Rosenlaui Gorge, moor, Urbach Valley, Gauli Glacier, Lake Brienz and Thun.
Various interests: electric power station Oberhasli (Nagra).
Excursions: Grimsel Pass, Susten Pass (glacier path Steingletscher), Urbach Valley, alpine pasture Engstlenalp.
Aare Gorge, Rosenlaui Gorge, moor, Grosse Scheidegg, various alpine hiking tours, Ballenberg, etc.
Ideal starting point for various bike tours. Bikes can be hired in the village. Bicycle route number 8 from the Grimsel Pass to Koblenz.
