Situated at the entry to the Canton of Glarus, 600 metres above the villages Mollis and Näfels (canton Glarus, Switzerland), there is the holiday home Kännelalp. It lies at the foot of the Fronalpstock, in the midst of wonderful alpine pastures and surrounded by high pine trees. 100 years ago, it was built onto safe rock. The house has been completely renovated and it offers a panelled living room, a bright porch, table-tennis and a well-furnished self-catering kitchen.
Large forecourt with a fireplace, playground and volleyball pitch. There is a lot of space for playing games and there are also numerous rewarding hiking possibilities.
In winter, the skilift Ochsenberg just below the house conveys skiiers to the skilift Ranegg: minimal waiting periods and challenging ski runs. Sledges available.
Access to the house by car possible. On request, the licensed coach service Mullern-Fronalp provides transport for groups and school classes along with their food and luggage.
