Open in winter and summer, our Berghotel Engstligenalp (mountain hotel) is located above the village of Adelboden in the Bernese Oberland (Switzerland), famous for its ski world cups, 150 m from the top terminal of the cable railway. The Berghotel Engstligenalp offers 20 beds. There are also 80 beds in the Engstligenalp Sennhütte (www.groups.ch/K-0288-7569/e) that can be used by our guests. For the last 35 years we have been a popular starting point for the winter sports training (Alpine and Nordic skiing, ski touring etc.) of ETH Zurich (Swiss Federal Institute of Technology).
The Engstligenalp plateau is a cultural landscape of national importance and a nature reserve including two waterfalls (600 metres). In summer, the area offers ideal conditions to hold conferences and workshops.
