The Ferienhaus Waldhaus is a generously planned holiday home in the pre-Alpine area above the small village of Riffenmatt in the canton of Bern. The WALDHAUS is remote, and it is ideal for groups who have enough initiative.

Although the furniture is kept to a minimum, there is a lot of pannelling in the interior of the home. In front of it, there is a playground and a fireplace. Meadows, several rivulets and the near wood enable many games. The WALDHAUS lies on a slope. It is easily accessible with any kind of vehicle. Unsuited for wheelchairs.

In winter, after a 20 minutes' walk on foot, two ski-lifts are on offer. The pre-Alpine skiing slopes are perfect for beginners and advanced skiers as well as for snowboarders. Cross country tracks and the option to rent skiing gear enlarge the possibilities.
