Our family run 3*-hotel "Das Hotel Sherlock Holmes" is situated at the quiet edge of the village of Meiringen (Bernese Oberland, Switzerland).

Our hotel, only 5 minutes from the railway station of Meiringen, is on the access path to the valley station of the cable car Meiringen - Hasliberg and is thus the ideal starting base for your winter or summer holiday.

All our bedrooms are cosily furnished and have en-suite bathroom with shower/tub, WC, hairdryer, telephone and safe. Most of our rooms have a balcony with a view onto the impressive mountain scenery of the Hasli valley. For families we can offer ideal family rooms with double bed and bunk bed or family appartments with a combined bedroom/living room and a separate bedroom.

For relaxation we recommend our indoor swimming pool (8x4 m) and the sauna on the 4th floor, from where you enjoy a unique view onto the roofs of Meiringen. Opening hours: 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Our family- and children's hotel offers a games room, baby foot and a table tennis table.
