The Colonie de vacances La Clef des Champs lies in St-Imier, on the Pontin plain in the Bernese Jura (Switzerland) on 1100 metres (3608 feet) above sea level, away from the hustle and bustle, surrounded by meadows and woods. Close to the Parc Jurassien de la Combe Grêde at the foot of the Chasseral, opposite the Mont-Soleil with its solar and wind power plants.
Near the house is a playground on an area of about 6'000 m2 with an outdoor fireplace. At the back of the house are a tar pitch with tables and chairs for several activities and tennis-tables.
Getting there by car is possible all year round, and a bus stop is 200 metres from the house. All the stores as well as the swimming-pool and sports halls are in St Imier, which is five minutes by car.
In winter ten minutes away from the ski-lifts Bugnenets-Savagnières, and one minute from the cross-country ski tracks of La Chaux-de-Fonds; Bienne and Neuchâtel are a half-hour away.
